Welcome to the Terms and Conditions page of Rahul Rent a Car. This section outlines the important policies and guidelines that govern your car rental experience with us.

1. Use of the Vehicle

We strictly prohibit the following actions, which may result in the loss of all rights:

• Driving the vehicle by any person not authorized by Rahul Rent a Car, as stated in this agreement.

• Participating in races or contests of any kind, or using the vehicle to push or tow other vehicles.

• Using the vehicle for the transportation of goods or carrying more passengers than those specified by the vehicle’s manufacturer or permitted by law.

• Driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

2. Rental Charges

The client agrees to pay the total amount agreed upon in the voucher confirmation. This includes costs for damages caused by negligent driving, off-road driving, towing services, or any other expenses resulting from these incidents. We do not cover damages to tires, wheels, mirrors, or glass. Missing tools, jacks, tires, or car keys are also not covered. Mistakes made while fueling and any resulting issues are not covered by insurance.

2.1 Traffic Fines

We do not include traffic fines in any case. The client is responsible for all violations, fines, toll charges, and citations incurred during the rental period. If the client receives a fine, we will charge an additional €30 as an administration processing fee.

3. Returning the Vehicle

The client must return the vehicle to the place, date, and time specified in this agreement. Any changes must be approved and authorized by Rahul Rent a Car. If the client fails to comply, we may legally demand the return of the vehicle. We also have the right to cancel this agreement if we suspect the client is involved in illegal activities or if we have doubts about the client’s solvency. The rental period is specified in the contract, and we do not offer refunds for early returns.

3.1 Rental Period

We charge all rentals on a 24-hour basis. Rahul Rent a Car allows a 4-hour grace period for returning the vehicle. If the client returns the vehicle later than this, we will charge an additional day’s rental fee. No refunds are given for early returns.

4. Insurance, Responsibility, and Accidents

Only the drivers specified in this car rental agreement are covered by insurance. The client’s civil liability for damages to the vehicle in case of fire or theft is fully covered, and partially covered in case of an accident, subject to an excess fee according to current rates.

4.1 Negligence or Misuse

We do not cover the days the vehicle is immobilized due to damages caused by negligence or misuse. The client must compensate Rahul Rent a Car based on the current rates for the type of vehicle hired.

4.2 Accident Procedures

If an accident occurs, the client must contact Rahul Rent a Car within 24 hours. The client must obtain and report all details regarding the other party, witnesses, and specifics about the circumstances, place, date, and time. If needed, the client must notify the authorities to investigate the fault of the other party or if there are any injuries. The client must not abandon the vehicle without first taking necessary steps to protect it.

4.3 Insurance Exclusions

The insurance does not cover accidents occurring under the influence of alcohol or drugs, accidents caused by any driver not specified in the rental agreement, or drivers without a valid driving license or with less than two years of driving experience. The insurance also does not cover the loss of property left inside the rental vehicle.

4.4 False Information

Rahul Rent a Car is not responsible for injuries to third parties or damages to the vehicle if the client or authorized drivers provide false information regarding their identity, address, driving license, etc.

5. Jurisdiction

In the event of any disagreement between the client and Rahul Rent a Car regarding the interpretation of these terms and conditions, regardless of the client’s nationality, the matter will be subject to the Courts of Málaga and governed by Spanish laws.

Our Prices Do Not Include:

• Damage to tires, wheels, clutch, gearbox, missing or damaged car keys, incorrect fueling, vehicle interiors, glass, or underside.

• If the vehicle requires special cleaning due to excessive dirtiness or misuse, Rahul Rent a Car reserves the right to charge an additional fee of €25.

• Fuel is not included: The client must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when it was picked up, or pay the difference (prices may vary depending on the market).

• Additional services such as child seats, GPS, pushchairs, etc., are available upon request for an additional charge.

Cross-Border Restrictions

We do not allow vehicles to be taken outside of Spain without prior authorization from Rahul Rent a Car. For more information, please contact our booking department.
